Best glass of sweet tea in town:
Pal's Razzie Tea. If heaven could be wrapped in foam, it would be dispensed at Pal's.
What surprised you the most when you first came to ETSU?
The quality of education. I came from a small private college that seemed to be one of the better schools in the region, but when I came to ETSU, my view of that place (and this one) changed drastically.
What is the biggest accomplishment in your life up to today?
Finding the woman of my dreams. The accomplishment is getting her to put up with me!
Sum up your life philosophy:
If I do my best to live my life for Christ, others see that in me and get curious. I love to share the love of the Lord with friends, family, and strangers.
What is your hometown?
My hometown is Curwensville, Pennsylvania. It's a small close to Clearfiled, the hometown of the biggest burger in the world. My family tried to eat it one time: ten people on one fifteen pound hamburger. That was an interesting day.
What was your first job?
Working on a tree nursery owned by my family for three generations now. I was supposed to take it over, but I had to give it up. Computers are where it's at for me; not farming.
What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Video games. Currently loving me some StarCraft 2. Climbing the ladder will take more years than I have.
What is your favorite bumper sticker?
"Want gun control? Try using two hands!"
If you were to do a celebrity endorsement of one Johnson City business or local product, which would you choose?
Pal's. Most definitely Pal's. Double Big Pal with Cheese will be the death of me.
Do you participate in any sports?
Well, assuming there's no difference from sports and being a sportsman, I love to hunt and fish. Being in nature is much more fun than being in front of a computer screen all the time.
