- Over the past couple of years I've become an avid runner - doing anything from 1 mile races to marathons.

- I'm 38.
I don't know how old I feel, but I'd say it's some fraction of what I am.
- How long have you been at ETSU?
- This time, six years. The grand total would be something like 14 years though.
- What is your life philosophy?

- Are you an organ donor? Why?
- Nope. Why not? Simple, because you can't actually be totally and completely dead for them to take your organs!

- Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to see movies lately. I did enjoy the last Harry Potter film though, and am looking forward to the final installment.
- What was your first job?
- Mowing lawns.

- Where Is Joe Merchant?
- What is the most unusual job you have ever held?
- Census taker.
- What is your primary mode of transportation?
- Jeep.
- What is the biggest accomplishment in your life up to today?
- Finding a wife that can put up with me.

- I didn't know then.
