ACM Student Competition set for April 11
The ACM is planning a student competition (for real prizes) in three areas: programming, web design, and database on Friday, April 11th.
Tentative Schedule:
- 12:30-1pm - Registration/Check-In for students (Gilbreath Hall, first floor).
- 1-4pm - competition
- 4-5pm ish - dinner and the final judging Reward ceremony (30 minutes or so) will be held last.
Each competitor will be given three hours, if needed, to complete a given specification or set of problems. The specifications and judging will be handled by C&IS faculty, not students. Due to time constraints, the three events will run concurrently. Therefore, competitors will only be able to compete in one event. We will have food and refreshments for the event (probably a dinner of some sort).

Because real prizes as well as food and beverages will be offered, the event will require an entry fee of $10/person if you register before April 4th and $12/person for late registration. Fees will be paid during check-in the day of the competition.
